As described, opened only one so far (most are for gift bags). The rainbow one does seem to have harder bristle from what I can touch through the packaging. Packages are all paper, just main one for mailing is plastic with bubblewrap. Would be even better if they were just in some hard cardboard box, but I guess there is a risk of them getting wet during transportation. Happy with my purchase!
